Dr. Megan Mincey is a proud Louisiana native from Denham Springs and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2025—Geaux Tigers! She also completed her undergraduate studies at LSU, joining the veterinary program a year early through the university’s distinguished 3+1 program.

From a young age, Dr. Mincey dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, inspired by her love for animals and her desire to strengthen the bond between pets and their families. Her professional interests include client communication, behavioral medicine, dermatology, and preventative care, and she is committed to making every visit as calm and comfortable as possible for her patients.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Mincey enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local restaurants, and enjoying nature. She loves spoiling her pets—walking her dog, Bud, and cuddling with her cat, Bellini—while always finding time to relax with a good book.
