Dr. Anna Tipton is a compassionate and skilled veterinarian with a deep love for animals. Growing up surrounded by a variety of creatures, she developed a strong bond with animals from an early age. This childhood experience ignited her passion for veterinary medicine and set her on a path to pursue her dreams.
Dr. Tipton graduated from Mississippi State University Veterinary School in 2009, where she excelled in her studies and gained invaluable clinical experience. Her education provided her with a solid foundation in veterinary medicine and instilled in her a dedication to providing high-quality care to her patients. She particularly enjoys surgeries and takes great pride in providing meticulous surgical care to her patients.

Dr. Tipton is a loving mother of two boys and shares her home with her husband and a beloved Labrador named Tilly. ( You can find Tilly supervising or taking naps most days at MVC) As a veterinarian and a mother, she understands the importance of family and strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for both her human clients and their furry companions.

​In 2016, Dr. Tipton joined the team at Marrero Vet, where she has become an integral part of the practice. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of animals and their human companions, striving to create a world where every pet receives the love, care, and attention they deserve.
